Job Description

Five 9s Solutions are hiring for a HR Intern, the employee will work under the supervision and management of the HR manager. One of the main responsibilities will be providing administrative support to the HR department, the day to day activities of the HR Intern will include updating databases and employee records, assisting in screening resumes and scheduling interviews with potential candidates. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to assist in the payrolls, employee development and be able to assist in implementing required company policies. Extensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures is one of the job requirements, the candidate should also have knowledge of the labor law and legilisations as assistance in the recruitement process is also one of the main responsibilities of a HR intern.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Updating company databases with relevant employee information
  2. Assist in the implementation of company policies
  3. Setting up interview with shortlisted candidates
  4. Posting job advertisements for recruitment
  5. Prepare HR-related reports
  6. Preparing & sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates
  7. Responding to staff enquiries efficiently
  8. Organizing all company files
  9. Managing all email/fax mail communications
  10. Gathering payroll data such as hours worked, timesheets and account details
  11. Participate in organizing company events
  12. Address employee queries regarding any benefits/policies

Relevant Skills and Experience:
Essential

  1. Previous HR experience
  2. Proficiency in MS Office
  3. Knowledge of labor legislations
  4. Knowledge of HR Policies
  5. Understanding of the recruitment cycle
  6. Familiarity with resume databases
  7. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  8. The ability to work in a small team

Relevant Qualifications:

  1. An undergraduate degree or higher in Human Resource management or relevant subject
  2. Certification in human resources

  3. Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous
  4. People management
  5. Teamwork / ability to work independenly when required
