Job description

The role of graphic designer includes the ability to create visual communications such as adverts, branding, publicity materials and magazine layouts according to the businesses needs and requirements. Graphic designers utilise graphic design skills to create media products.

Primary responsibilities:

1. The branding of business products
2. Ability to go above and beyond the assigned responsibilities and should be able to help the organization in additional tasks with consulting and content management
3. Should be able to leverage their creativity, imagination, visual design skills to produce designs that speaks out our brand’s message clearly
4. Designing prompt content for website and apps
5. managing client proposals from typesetting through to graphic design, print and production
6. Meeting business product expectations

Relevant skills and experience:
Essential

1. Strong visual and graphic design skills
2. Ability to conceptualize and develop visual ideas
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to go above and beyond the assigned responsibilities and should be able to help the organization in additional tasks with consulting and content management
5. Attention to detail
6. Ability to create website design
7. Corporate persentation skills
8. Create and structure presentations

Desirable

1. Time management and multitasking ability
2. Knowledge of colour theory and typography
3. Individual who is willing to learn and implement new design ideas
4. Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Procreate

Relevant qualifications:
Essential

1. Proficiency in graphic design software like CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
2. A portfolio that demonstrates design ability
3. Prior experience as a UX Graphic Designer
4. Degree in relevant subject
