Job description

The business analyst will become the main link between the end-user and a project manager. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze, evaluate, and refine processes.

Primary responsibilities:

1. Evaluating business processes
2. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
3. Performing project requirements analysis
4. Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
5. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
6. Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
7. Anticipating project and business requirements
8. Developing and implementing project solutions

Essential

1. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
2. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
3. Technical skills
4. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
5. A track record of following through on commitments
6. Prior experience in leading and supporting successful projects
7. Leading and developing top-performing teams
8. Critical thinking and evaluation
9. The ability to work in a team or independently when required

Relevant qualifications:

Essential

1. A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA
2. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business analysis or a related

Desirable communications skills:

1. Good documentation
2. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
3. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
4. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
